You probably shouldn’t pay for my membership. (And that’s okay.)

I don't remember anything from Marketing 101. Maybe you shouldn't pay me.

You probably shouldn’t pay for my membership. (And that’s okay.)

I'm probably breaking every rule of marketing by writing this post.

The thing is, my membership program isn't intended to be like many you're familiar with. I don't have a Netflix-grade content library ready and waiting for you to consume. I don't have fansite-style content that would warrant me launching on those platforms.

But I have a desire to keep shooting and want to invite those who’d like to support that work to join me. In return, I want to bring you in closer to the process - to learn more about me personally, my thoughts around the work I do, and the wonderful folks who agree to collaborate with me.

Most of what I create is available to everyone, for free.

My work, like so much great work online, is easy to access without a paywall. If you’re here to browse, enjoy, and move along—that’s wonderful. You don’t need to pay to appreciate what I do.

There’s not a big library of exclusive content (yet).

This membership is new. There will be more over time—more behind-the-scenes, more insights, more personal notes—but if you’re looking for an immediate treasure trove of locked-away material, we’re not there yet.

A membership is a way to say: “I see you, and I want you to keep going.”

Like supporting Public Radio, it’s about saying: I value this work, and I want to help make sure it continues. It’s not about perks, rewards, or VIP access. It’s about supporting the existence of the work, not expecting something in return.

If that’s not for you, that’s completely okay.

There’s no pressure, no guilt trip. If you enjoy the photos, the stories, and the process—but aren’t in a place to support financially or don’t feel that deeper connection—that’s totally fine. You’re still welcome here.

The free newsletter is a great way to stay connected.

You can still follow along, stay updated, and get insights into what I’m working on by signing up for the newsletter. That’s a no-cost way to keep in touch.

Join me in whatever way feels right to you, and thank you!
